Create your game in the IMPACT Sandbox using MakeCode Arcade, coding your game in blocks, JavaScript, or Python!

Create a game that fits the theme SUMMER QUEST!

Does the game give us "SUMMER QUEST"?

Is the game fun? Do the controls feel good? Are the mechanics implemented well?

Your game will be judged on the following criteria:

You Get To Be Part of the Judging, Too!

In the IMPACT Community, search for games with "Game Jam" in their title. Play the games, then award the games you like with one of the 12 IMPACT emoji reaction options!

You can award a single game with multiple emoji reactions, and award as many games in the Community as you'd like!

The game that receives the most emoji reactions in a single category will win that category!

Share your project in the IMPACT Community with the title "Game Jam:" followed by your game's name. Be sure to add a description of your project (including information on how to play) and mark the Community Status as "Share to Community!"

Kelvin Tu

Kelvin (like the temperature and not like the “...and Hobbes”!) is an indie developer currently working on his passion project, Überkrieg - a turn-based strategy game featuring a unique radio system. Last year, Kelvin contributed design to the “Best Overall Game” in the Quiver Game Developer Guild's incubator program. Kelvin is also active in several local dev communities including Full Indie, Indie Pod, and bigTEAM!

Cam Moeller

Cam is an Executive Producer and General Manager with over 15 years in the games industry, shaping studios and titles across AAA, AA, and indie spaces. His production and leadership work includes roles at ArenaNet, Sucker Punch, 343 Industries, DreadXP, ProbablyMonsters, Tripwire Interactive and recently, an Unannounced Studio—contributing to acclaimed franchises like Guild Wars 2, Infamous: Second Son – First Light, Halo: Infinite, and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, with more currently in development.


Starting from the trenches in QA and rising through the ranks of production, Cam brings a veteran eye for world building, art direction, feature design, marketing and product development. He’s built a reputation around mentoring rising talent, leading multidisciplinary teams, shipping complex large-scale titles, and wrangling more spreadsheets than he’s comfortable admitting.
