Marco has been at Code Ninjas for the past 4 years, where he has created many games and used patience to work through difficult projects. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games, working on coding-related projects at home, and helping others learn how to code. His Black Belt project, “A Ninja’s Journey”, is a Code Ninjas-themed platformer game, where you control a ninja through 9 progressively harder levels, starting at white and ending at black. Avoid the obstacles and grab the key at the end of each level to belt up!

Carter has been enrolled at Code Ninjas Viera for three and a half years, and wants to be a professional game developer. He persevered through the COVID lockdown and used that time to further hone his coding skills by completing all of the available projects. He’s a talented artist that modeled his own main character in his Black Belt project, Brutal Battle, and he created the title screen music on his own, too!

He intentionally focused on the game development process for his project, and believes his game turned out well!

Julian Rosadi has been a ninja at Code Ninjas Hoffman Estates for three and a half years. Julian's hobbies include coding and playing video games, and he will continue to be part of the Code Ninjas community as a Sensei. His Black Belt project, Dungeon Escape, is a challenging, trap-filled platformer inspired by a similar game, Trap Adventure 2. Julian hopes that whoever plays his game has fun trying to figure out how to pass its difficult levels.

Husyn has spent 3 years at Code Ninjas, learning game development skills while having a blast with senseis and other ninjas. Her Black Belt project, Happy Animals, showcases her passion for gaming and animals. The game is a single-player puzzle shooter with several levels that each bring changes in gravity, obstacles, and scenery. Take on rubber ducks, water hazards, bombs and eagles! Carter Young
Carter started with Code Ninjas Burlington in 2019. He received the Ninja of the Year award at NinjaCon 2021 and has already created and published two games called Smiley Run and Kyub Quest. For his Black Belt project, Carter created a 3D platformer game called Robo Rumble Run. The player is tasked with moving Robo across obstacles throughout 5 levels. Once the player completes the course, they must activate the Orb, and then turn around and rush back to the start, avoiding the spikes before the timer runs out.

Zach has been at Code Ninjas Chanhassen since 2018. He is dedicated to learning to code and hopes to one day create a video game that will be played by thousands. Zach's Black Belt project, Sky High Escape, situates players inside a crashing plane. They must escape by solving riddles and finding clues. Zach created all of his own models, using Blender, for this project.

In this clicking game, the player must build a tower before the enemy can make a hole in the tower and reach the player!

He plans to continue pursuing his passion for game development and will be starting at a magnet high school next year studying either cybersecurity or game development. Ethan aspires to be an engineer, working in artificial intelligence or robotics, so that he can contribute to the development of innovative technologies that will improve day-to-day life.

Kellan was the first Ninja at Code Ninjas Georgetown and has excelled all the way through the belts. For his Black Belt project, Byrdshot, Kellan created a flying first-person shooter. Kellan first thought of the game as a Purple Belt, and it allowed him to focus his learning during all the upper belts. In Byrdshot, you blast through space and destroy enemies with your double barrel shotgun. As you progress watch out for the enemy projectiles.

In Raelyn’s project, the user must save the missing kids to win the game!
