Daniel's Black Belt project, Bad Bananas, presents an overworld landscape 2D platformer game that includes cliffs and hidden caverns. Each level is a unique playground of platforming challenges, where you'll leap, climb, and jump your way through obstacles and traps. You will encounter a variety of quirky enemies and tricky puzzles as you journey through this wild and wacky environment.

Makanamaikalani Reshke

Makanamaikalani's Black Belt project, Find the Keys, is a mix of puzzle and horror, made for her niece Marley who likes similar types of games and loved it and wanted to play it over and over again.

Dashel Caldwell

Dashel's Black Belt project, Refrigerator Cat Adventures, is a silly little game where you play as a "refrigerator-shaped cat" that has caused some trouble with a group of bandits that are searching for you. (The bandits are weighed down so much by their invisible armor that they can't move.)

Behdad Mahdian

Behdad created his Black Belt project, Penalty Party, because of his love for football. It was initially a very challenging project for him but over time he became more comfortable with the code and assets. He recommends playing it with friends and taking turns for the best experience!

Jace's Black Belt project, Venture, is a game where you are on an island and must find and take an altar hidden on that island, but beware for when you take it there is a powerful enemy.

Weston came to Code Ninjas Friendswood as a transfer, and enjoyed his time with us. He worked on his Black Belt project, Speed Racers, for 2 years, working on his own merit and taking his time to create a project he, and everyone at his center, is proud of.

Joseph's Black Belt project, Frog in the Sea, is an fast-paced puzzle game where you jump across a grid of 16 lily pads trying to dodge the incoming flies. There is no end goal and you simply try to achieve the highest score possible.

Nicholas Stasi

Nicholas is one of the founding Ninjas at Code Ninjas South Naperville. He was self-sufficient as he worked through the belts. His Black Belt project is a FPS called Cosmic Storm.

Salvador De Dominicis

Salvador has been a member of Code Ninjas West Springs for the past four years. He created a realistic racing game called “Sal-Turismo” as his Black Belt project. In this game, the player drives a car around a track, attempting to set the fastest time. His game features realistic racing elements by recreating tire and engine power physics. It also incorporates a high-score table that allows you to race your friends to set the fastest time. Salvador hopes to use this knowledge in the future to create real-life projects with physical moving parts.

Samuel Darman

Samuel is a hard-working, aspiring game developer who has spent four years at Code Ninjas London. With a deep fascination for planes, specifically military-grade aircraft, Samuel developed a realistic military plane simulator game as his black belt project. In his Black Belt project, Aerospöke, you pilot a Saab 35 "Draken" through fun challenges, such as races and plane interceptions. Samuel is already developing his next game with another Ninja at his center, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for his next release!

Ishan has been at Code Ninjas Ashburn for the past 5 years. He's smart and funny, and a focused, hardworking Ninja who loves coding. He used his love for coding to make his Black Belt project, Escape The Mansion.

Joanna Pereira

Joanna has been a member of Code Ninjas Robbinsville since August 2022. Her Black Belt project, Stack Swiftly, is a unique blend of her favorite mobile game and her love for Taylor Swift. This game lets players experience 13 years of Taylor Swift's music, journeying through each of her iconic eras, complete with their distinctive music and themes.

Hudson Cerne

Hudson has been a part of the Code Ninjas Northern Valley family since December 2019. Hudson has always been eager to learn, do more than the basic requirements, and make our dojo fun. In his Black Belt project Last Leaves, the world you spawn around you is ripe for harvesting and cultivating. Chop down trees for basic resources and build factories with the wood you gather, but polluting too much will lead to monsters spawning, so keep an eye out for how many trees you chop. Will you be able to successfully fuel your factories?

Raphael Chang

Raphael is a founding Ninja at Code Ninjas Markham. He has displayed great initiative, taking charge of the direction of his game and finding the necessary resources to accomplish his goals. Raphael's Black Belt project, Dungeon Escape, has undergone various iterations, thorough experimentation and feedback to reach its current state. His game is a thrilling 3D dungeon explorer where your objective is to find hidden keys, defeat enemies, and escape before time runs out!

Muhsin has been going to Code Ninjas Coppell since November of 2021. His Black Belt project Outside The Box was inspired by the game Brain Test and other similar quiz games. Muhsin hopes to now become a Code Sensei at his center.

Tim Dillon

Tim has been coming to Code Ninjas Arlington Heights for 2 years, and has enjoyed every minute he's been there. His Black Belt project, Ninja Tower Defense, is an action-packed game where the player must strategically place their troops to defend their base from being attacked by waves of enemies. Tim is very proud of his game and very thankful to his parents and Code Senseis for helping and supporting him along his journey to Black Belt!

Sofia Sivarulrasa

Sofia has been attending Code Ninjas London since it opened in 2019. She loves mathematics, playing piano, and reading books. As a culmination of her programming prowess, Sofia has built her own game, Cyberpocalypse. Sofia's game features a courageous pig attempting to thwart a cyber apocalypse. Avoid appliances and mass destruction as you navigate through five levels to help the pig save the world!

Jaey Lee

Jaey began his journey towards becoming a Black Belt Ninja in 2021, working hard and showing exceptional skill in computer programming while persevering through all of the belts. His determination, skill, and passion for puzzles culminated in the creation of his very own puzzle platformer for his Black Belt project, Coloring City. In Coloring City, players must correctly sequence their traversal through levels by unlocking doors, avoiding hazards, interacting with unique environments, and painting the city! Jaey has thoroughly enjoyed his time at Code Ninjas and plans to continue developing games in the future!

Robert John (RJ) Mosman

RJ was a founding member of Code Ninjas Virginia Beach in 2019. After moving to Washington state, he attended the Newcastle location before finishing his Black Belt project, Space Clash, at Code Ninjas Chesapeake! Space Clash is a space combat themed game based around fighting enemies, raising your score, and surviving! Can you survive the Space Clash?

Iraa has been attending Code Ninjas Weddington/Indian Trail for almost 4 years and has always been incredibly mature and independent. Iraa is always willing to learn new things and challenges herself to solve problems on her own. Iraa's Black Belt project, Tic-Tac-Toe Blast, was inspired by her brother, Rithwik who also just completed his Black Belt project. We are so proud of Iraa for all she has accomplished!

Arnav has been working hard at Code Ninjas West Katy for 5 years to get to this point. He's learned a lot in his time at Code Ninjas and has shown dedication to his community by consistently providing aid to other Ninjas around him in need. For his Black Belt project, Adventure, Arnav created an open-world game that takes multiple sessions to beat with reaction-based combat.

Ethan Mack

Ethan is a dedicated student who has been attending Code Ninjas North Vancouver for the last 3 years. Ethan's Black Belt project, Mack Defense, was inspired by the Roblox game, Tower Defense Simulator. He is an amazingly creative and smart Ninja that has consistently come up with new and innovative ideas. Ethan is the fourth Ninja from Code Ninjas North Vancouver to earn his Black Belt and everyone at the center is proud of the game he has created!

Alison Wong

Alison is one of the founding Ninjas at Code Ninjas Markham, beginning her journey in 2021. Over the years, she has shown tremendous growth in her programming skills, particularly in her pursuit of the Black Belt. Her Black Belt game, Kirby Wonderland, is a captivating 3D adventure platformer where players complete tasks to assist various NPCs. Alison dedicated a lot of effort to the design and aesthetics, resulting in a visually stunning magical wonderland.

Atticus Stewart

Watching Atticus develop his Black Belt project, Cinematic Error, was inspiring to everyone at Code Ninjas Sandy, seeing him build his game from an empty Unity world to a fully-fledged 2D game! He developed all of the animations himself, demonstrating his commitment to making the game truly his own.

Aiden McQueen

Aiden started his coding journey at the age of 10 at Code Ninjas London. He loves golf, which motivated him to create his Black Belt game, Golf Tour, where you are a golfer who must plan strategically to get your ball in the hole in the least amount of strokes possible. Aiden enjoyed his experiences at Code Ninjas, whether it be having someone playtest his game, or just working alongside one of his amazing Code Senseis! He is super excited and enthusiastic to present his final project for you to enjoy.

DEFEAT THE SENSEI

Michael Yagop

Michael got the idea for his Black Belt project, Defeat The Sensei, after talking to another Ninja about a Sensei boss fight. The game consists of 3 unique levels with different Sensei boss fights. It is short but challenging, in the style of an older arcade game. It may feel endless, but there is an end that will be a challenge for players.
