Black Belt Ninjas | Code Ninjas

Mark Shiina spent 5 years at Code Ninjas Palos Verdes learning, experimenting, and practicing game development. His Black Belt project, Blocky, showcases his strong command of the Unity tool and the C# programming language. Play 45 levels plus a Boss level that all include audio effects, background music, a health bar, motion tracking enemies, animated hazards, and much more! His message to game players is: "The game is very challenging, and you might need time to get used to it, but it is not impossible. Never give up!"

Conor has been passionate about learning how to code, designing video games, and building software for many years. Since joining Code Ninjas London in 2022, he has gained an exceptional amount of knowledge in computer programming skills through the support and mentorship of his Code Senseis. Conor’s Black Belt project, House Defense, is a first-person survival shooter game with the premise of eradicating the invading zombies before they can cause you or your house any harm. Are you ready for an adrenaline-fueled survival challenge against waves of ferocious zombies?

Jacob has been an integral part of the Code Ninjas Chandler community for the last two years, showcasing his passion for coding and creativity. He loves to play Dungeons and Dragons and values strong personal connections with others. Jacob’s Black Belt project, Potato Power, demonstrates his enthusiasm through an exhilarating game that challenges players' dexterity and speed. Embark on a thrilling adventure, slicing potatoes with precision to create perfect French Fries, earning points for in-game rewards. For the true virtuosos, the Chef Challenge awaits, adding an extra layer of intensity to the game. Jacob's journey unfolds not only in lines of code but also in the exciting virtual world of Potato Power.

Aiden has been part of the Code Ninjas Encinitas family since 2019. He is the first Black Belt our dojo has awarded, which is proof of his dedication and commitment. For his Black Belt project, he created a 2D game called Beach Ninja, inspired by the popular game Flappy Bird. In the game, a ninja in snorkel gear must jump over randomly heightened wooden poles and gain points for each successful jump to get the highest score. Aiden has been an amazing asset to the Code Ninjas Encinitas community, and we are honored that we were part of his coding journey.

Kaden is an aspiring game developer that has been attending Code Ninjas Los Alamitos since its opening in 2020. Kaden's Black Belt project, Super Epic Very Cool Amazing Zombie Shooter Omega Pro Ultra Premium Max RTX 8090 Plus, is an epic zombie survival thriller, where you must fight the infinite waves of zombies, using your weapons to survive. Kaden worked very hard on this project and is thrilled that he finished. He will continue to create games, and he has already published several of his own games on his website.

Ben has been an integral part of Code Ninjas Barrie since it opened, where he has worked hard to become a highly intelligent and proficient coder. His Black Belt project, Pineapple Volleyball, is an imaginative game that combines the thrill of volleyball with the twist of ninjas, featuring a unique pineapple as the volleyball and the option to play against the computer or another player. Dive into the game and encounter various power-ups and challenging opponents, each presenting their own set of obstacles for an exhilarating experience!

Ivan is a passionate coder and progressed through each belt quickly by attending sessions at Code Ninjas Crestwood whenever possible. His Black Belt project, Curse of Memes, is a horror game combined with memes throughout the game. Players must survive by collecting mushrooms to unlock the next area. Follow the path and hope to survive, or perhaps don't follow the path, and find something else. Beware of the "friends" waiting in the forest. Explore the map but remember... you are not alone in the forest.
