Dexter's Black Belt project, Telekineticube, is a 2D platformer where the player can move around with telekinesis. Dexter actually spent a lot of time developing a completely different project that was really complicated, but switched his game idea halfway through to be more simple. He put quite a lot of effort into the current game, designing all of the models and most of the assets using Blender.

Alex's Black Belt project, Soccer Goalie, is a 3D game in which the player acts as the goalie trying to defend the goal while gaining currency per shot saved. This game features an item shop which changes the cosmetic qualities of the goalie gloves. We hope you enjoy Alex's game!

Asiya has been with Code Ninjas Surrey since the it's opening, and has always been willing to learn new things and challenge herself to solve problems on her own. Her Black Belt project, Collision Kick-Off, is inspired by a game she found on the App Store. The goal is to combine the same sports balls together to form higher ones, all while getting points! Since her favorite sport is Soccer, the final ball, and primary goal of the game, is a soccer ball.

His Black Belt game, GalacTech, is a retro, space-themed, fast-paced arcade game. In this game, players enjoy an intense battle through the outer reaches of our galaxy, dodging relentless waves of enemies forging on in the thrill of the unknown. Whilst these waves of treacherous alien entities bombard the player's defenses, they have a chance to achieve higher and higher scores.

Sukhbir embarked on a two-year journey at Code Ninjas to bring his imagination to life through game development. With unwavering passion, he crafted his Black Belt project, The Stickman Adventure, a platform shooter where a stranded stickman battles the formidable "chads" on an alien world to retrieve his scattered rocketship pieces. Through countless hours of coding and creativity, Sukhbir culminated his adventure with an epic showdown against "Giga Chad" to secure the final piece to escape the extraterrestrial realm.

His Black Belt project, "How 'Fun Game: The Beginning' Was Made", is a 3D-simulation game where you play as a game developer who took over as lead developer in a game studio. To finish the game, you must decide whether or not to add a feature; some make the game better, while others make it worse.

Liam joined Code Ninjas Guelph in February 2020. He's been crafting video games for quite some time now. His Black Belt project, PixelBeat, took him about 4 months to complete, and he absolutely enjoyed the process. PixelBeat is a cool rhythm game where players match notes to the song's beat using different keys. Liam started by building the basic gameplay loop and kept tweaking it until he was happy with it. Liam is now a Code Sensei and loves to share his experience with other Ninjas.

Cora’s Black Belt project, Barista Codey, is based on the final Red Belt project, Chef Codey. Her game consists of two levels with different objectives, putting the player in a cafe where they are told where nothing is, nor how to make items, and even when they do their best, it still won’t be enough for the first boss. Cora has thoroughly worked through each step of the game development process for many months and has learned and grown by working through her mistakes and implementing feedback given in each review cycle.
