Justin collaborated with his Code Sensei to create an amazing boxing game for this Black Belt project. Justin spent a year developing his game, getting it playtested, listening to feedback, and making updates, and he is now ready to share it with everyone. Step into the electrifying world of Run My Ones, the ultimate boxing video game that delivers a knockout punch of excitement! Immerse yourself in the adrenaline-pumping intensity of the ring as you lace up your virtual gloves and prepare for a gaming experience like no other.

Cassidy Lo

Cassidy Lo has been a standout member of Code Ninja Markham for over three years, evolving from a White Belt into a master of coding and game development. Her journey is marked by a seamless blend of technical prowess and artistic flair. Cassidy’s latest creation, Space Escape, is a first-person, 3D puzzle survival game that offers players an exhilarating and immersive adventure. Set within a mysterious alien spacecraft, the game captivates with its meticulous attention to detail and stunning ambient lighting, showcasing Cassidy’s exceptional skill in crafting an atmospheric and engaging experience.

Luc Diverse

Luc joined Code Ninjas in February 2022 after being inspired by his dad who is a programmer. Luc was the first Ninja to complete his Black Belt project at Code Ninjas Arundel Mills. His game, Pause Power, is a simple yet challenging puzzle game that takes place in space. Pausing is a key game mechanic that reveals other objects. Through the creation of the game, Luc learned new ways to utilize Unity to develop his own game from scratch.

Zidan Sachedina

Zidan began his coding journey over 3 years ago and is one of the founding Ninjas at Code Ninjas Markham. Throughout his time here, Zidan has always been extremely inquisitive, often asking questions that go beyond the regular curriculum. His game, The Lost Hero, is an exciting 2D action platformer where the goal is to defeat all enemies and reach the boss level. Players can upgrade their character using coins collected throughout each level, adding a layer of strategy to the gameplay.

David Bernard

David was the first Ninja to complete his Black Belt project at Code Ninjas Waterford Lakes after two years of learning there. Monster Rush is a challenging action game where the player controls a fighter who can fight different types of monsters depending on the player's choices.

Nikita Belousov

Nikita has always enjoyed video games, which led him to join Code Ninjas Cedar Park in August 2019 so he could learn how to make his own. He is passionate about learning and was a great Ninja to have in our center! For his Black Belt project, Survival Escape, he wanted to design a game that could be fun and challenging to play. This game is about escaping a world you have been dropped into by overcoming obstacles and dodging threats throughout your journey.

JOE'S ADVENTURE

Brandon Yau

Brandon has been at Code Ninjas Pleasanton for two years. His Black Belt Project, Joe's Adventure, is a 2D fighting game where the player challenges multiple enemies by collecting money and buying several pieces of equipment. Brandon enjoyed developing the battle system and creating his unique characters. Throughout his game, he learned to apply static variables and PlayerPrefs to save player data.

Peyton Kellis

Peyton is an avid Roblox developer who decided to challenge himself by making his Black Belt project, Escape the Space, entirely on his own. He created every sprite and effect you will see as you fly through space to mine resources to fix your hyperdrive and find your way home!

EVERYONE HATES GERALD

Gus Borchelt

Everyone Hates Gerald is a tower defense game where the player must use different towers to combat the different Geralds as they travel along the track. The game features three different areas of progressive difficulty where the player must defend against ten waves of incoming Geralds with only ten given lives. Can you defend against the onslaught of Geralds using the four given towers?

Fran is the first Ninja to complete his Black belt at Code Ninjas Port Coquitlam! He spent 1 year developing his Black belt game, Parasite, a shooter game with 3 levels and additional bonus levels once you pass them all! Fran hopes to continue to add more levels in the future.

Jonah has diligently coded his Black Belt project, Mario Has Way Too Much Free Time, featuring his favorite video game character. Through his dedication and love for coding, Jonah has made great progress through the curriculum and is a great peer among his friends at Code Ninjas.

Alexander Fomenko

Alexander has been going to Code Ninjas Markham for five years. His Black Belt project, "The VR Driver", is a driving simulator giving the player the ability to practice driving in a city with AI traffic. His game can also be played in Virtual Reality with a VR Headset for true immersion.

Daniel's Black Belt project, Bad Bananas, presents an overworld landscape 2D platformer game that includes cliffs and hidden caverns. Each level is a unique playground of platforming challenges, where you'll leap, climb, and jump your way through obstacles and traps. You will encounter a variety of quirky enemies and tricky puzzles as you journey through this wild and wacky environment.

Makanamaikalani's Black Belt project, Find the Keys, is a mix of puzzle and horror, made for her niece Marley who likes similar types of games and loved it and wanted to play it over and over again.

Dashel's Black Belt project, Refrigerator Cat Adventures, is a silly little game where you play as a "refrigerator-shaped cat" that has caused some trouble with a group of bandits that are searching for you. (The bandits are weighed down so much by their invisible armor that they can't move.)

Behdad created his Black Belt project, Penalty Party, because of his love for football. It was initially a very challenging project for him but over time he became more comfortable with the code and assets. He recommends playing it with friends and taking turns for the best experience!

Joseph's Black Belt project, Frog in the Sea, is an fast-paced puzzle game where you jump across a grid of 16 lily pads trying to dodge the incoming flies. There is no end goal and you simply try to achieve the highest score possible.

Nicholas is one of the founding Ninjas at Code Ninjas South Naperville. He was self-sufficient as he worked through the belts. His Black Belt project is a FPS called Cosmic Storm.

Salvador De Dominicis

Salvador has been a member of Code Ninjas West Springs for the past four years. He created a realistic racing game called “Sal-Turismo” as his Black Belt project. In this game, the player drives a car around a track, attempting to set the fastest time. His game features realistic racing elements by recreating tire and engine power physics. It also incorporates a high-score table that allows you to race your friends to set the fastest time. Salvador hopes to use this knowledge in the future to create real-life projects with physical moving parts.

Samuel Darman

Samuel is a hard-working, aspiring game developer who has spent four years at Code Ninjas London. With a deep fascination for planes, specifically military-grade aircraft, Samuel developed a realistic military plane simulator game as his black belt project. In his Black Belt project, Aerospöke, you pilot a Saab 35 "Draken" through fun challenges, such as races and plane interceptions. Samuel is already developing his next game with another Ninja at his center, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for his next release!

Joanna has been a member of Code Ninjas Robbinsville since August 2022. Her Black Belt project, Stack Swiftly, is a unique blend of her favorite mobile game and her love for Taylor Swift. This game lets players experience 13 years of Taylor Swift's music, journeying through each of her iconic eras, complete with their distinctive music and themes.

Hudson Cerne

Hudson has been a part of the Code Ninjas Northern Valley family since December 2019. Hudson has always been eager to learn, do more than the basic requirements, and make our dojo fun. In his Black Belt project Last Leaves, the world you spawn around you is ripe for harvesting and cultivating. Chop down trees for basic resources and build factories with the wood you gather, but polluting too much will lead to monsters spawning, so keep an eye out for how many trees you chop. Will you be able to successfully fuel your factories?

Raphael Chang

Raphael is a founding Ninja at Code Ninjas Markham. He has displayed great initiative, taking charge of the direction of his game and finding the necessary resources to accomplish his goals. Raphael's Black Belt project, Dungeon Escape, has undergone various iterations, thorough experimentation and feedback to reach its current state. His game is a thrilling 3D dungeon explorer where your objective is to find hidden keys, defeat enemies, and escape before time runs out!

Muhsin Berkay Akkoyun

Muhsin has been going to Code Ninjas Coppell since November of 2021. His Black Belt project Outside The Box was inspired by the game Brain Test and other similar quiz games. Muhsin hopes to now become a Code Sensei at his center.
