Black Belt Ninjas | Code Ninjas

Isaac has been a part of the Code Ninjas Northern Valley family since October 2022, where he developed programming and game development skills while bringing his own fun elements into the dojo. His hard work and passion for coding ultimately contributed to him reaching Black Belt and developing his game, Arrow Volley. In his game, you start the game off by shooting simple targets, but as the game progresses through the 5 levels, it gets more challenging. At the last level, there are unique targets that give you special abilities, but keep in mind that you only get to use one per game, so make the right choice. Now, can you make it to the final level without failing?

Connor's Black Belt project, Glyk, is a simple action roguelike inspired heavily by its forebears, from The Binding of Isaac and Enter the Gungeon, to more recently Risk of Rain 2 and Hades. In the game, you work your way through a dungeon, fighting skeletons, sentient fireballs, and minotaurs to take down an ancient shadow demon. To beat this antediluvian foe, you must go deeper into the dungeon, collecting items and levels to stand a chance of slaying the beast once and for all. Every life counts, and if you lose, you must start over from the top, with more knowledge of the dungeon and its inner workings.

Rashid started coding at the age of 9 and has always been patient and resilient. He worked hard to fix his own bugs before asking for help, showing great problem-solving skills. Rashid loves playing games that are a bit harder, and this inspired him to create his Black Belt project, Blox Dash, based on Geometry Dash. Rashid put a lot of effort into designing multiple levels, creating obstacles, and adding bright colors and exciting sounds. He spent many hours making sure the game was fun to play and worked well. His game has a secret level that you can try to find!
