Jayden enjoys listening to music and is a gamer who has spent 600 hours on Geometry Dash and beaten a hard demon. His Black Belt project, Blobs vs Stickmen, is inspired by the Battle Cats and the idle style of games. The project was meant to simulate random chance. The artwork was all custom made and many hours were spent implementing the game mechanics and animation.

In his Black Belt project, Smokey Defense, you must protect the town from being engulfed in poisonous fumes by placing towers and other defense items. Clicking chests can give you coins, and killing smoke gives you a steady income of coins as well to spend on either upgrading or adding to your tower collection. Christian's Black Belt project, Predator, is a game greatly inspired by Rain World. He was very intrigued by the incredible AI of the predators and the unique game feel so he decided to make a spin on it with his own twist. The Great Storm has reckoned the forest, and now you must play as a lost deer and its Guardian. Use your limits to creatively eliminate your predators and gather their power to become the hunter. Just remember to play your cards wisely, you only have so much.

Sydney has been a Ninja at the Coral Spring center since 2018, and has progressed to be our first Black Belt Ninja. Her Black Belt project, Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Paper Airplane Game, is about a paper airplane that has to glide between buildings, avoid the flying scissors, and collect the floating rocks. With few lives and fast moving obstacles, this game takes some time to master!

Muhamed, a founding Ninja at Code Ninjas London, has had a profound interest in coding for many years. Beyond coding, Muhamed enjoys spending his time playing soccer. His Black Belt project, Journey in the Sky, is a unique 2D game where the objective is not to drive vehicles around, but to push obstacles away from the vehicles! Use a combination of the mouse and abilities to protect yourself from a large variety obstacles over the many different levels! Can you beat all the levels?

Alexander's Black Belt project, Scribble Space, is a paper-style side scroller where the player controls a spaceship to blow up as many aliens as they can with three lives, and beat their high score. As they play again and again, they can pick up money to get new upgrades and weapons for their ship. They can only get a set amount of upgrades, so the player must make strategic choices on what to upgrade that will fit their playstyle and their weapon of choice. It's sure to provide a unique experience for each player!

Hayden's Black Belt project, Scuffed-100 :), is the result of him adding a bunch of stuff to his game and then finding a way to pull it all together. There are 2 modes of game play. Wave Mode: It’s like a zombie survival game but with extra cheese. Survive the endless hordes of random enemies with a ridiculous arsenal and weird power ups of bad decisions. War Mode: Just like the battles of knights and castles, but with more slapstick and less historical accuracy.

Cameron's Black Belt game, Grand Theft Dojo, is an action-adventure game inspired by the plot of the movie Mission Impossible, where the goal of the game is to stop the world from getting blown up by missiles.

Isaac's Black Belt project, Warehouse of Worries, is a horror escape game. The player must get through the maze alive while running from evil monsters. Choosing and editing his ideas was the hardest part of making his Black Belt game and is an important skill to have as a future indie game designer. Isaac has been with Code Ninjas since 2021. His advice for his younger self is to stick with it; even though there are times where it is too hard or when we aren't feeling motivated, push through it and persist to the finish line!
